Offsite Trips
Big adventures begin when you step beyond your home trails and explore the wild world around you.
Offsite trip days take your crew beyond Kimbercote to explore the incredible natural destinations around the Blue Mountains. Hike to a lookout you earn, wander a giant forest, or splash at a new beach — each outing is guided, age-appropriate, and packed with new things to discover. Arriving somewhere new with your camp friends makes the whole day feel like a real adventure.

A day on it
Some days, the adventure goes on the road. Offsite trips take campers beyond Kimbercote to explore some of the incredible natural destinations in our local area — forests, conservation areas, beaches, lookouts, and unique outdoor landmarks you'd never find in your own backyard. Every trip lands you somewhere new, somewhere that sparks curiosity and gets the whole crew excited to explore.
Guided by trained staff, these outings blend real exploration, outdoor play, and group connection while introducing campers to the diverse landscapes that make our region so special. Each trip is thoughtfully planned to be age-appropriate, engaging, and filled with discovery — so there's always something new to climb, splash in, or figure out together.

Real days, real grins
Safety, handled
- Every offsite trip is carefully planned with safety as the top priority, and locations are pre-assessed by staff before campers ever arrive.
- Activities are selected based on age, ability, and conditions, and weather is reviewed in advance of each trip.
- Campers receive clear expectations about group travel, boundaries, and behaviour before setting out.
- Supervision ratios are maintained throughout, with staff positioned for active monitoring across the group.
- First aid kits are carried on every trip and emergency procedures are in place at each destination.
What to bring
On offsite trip days, drop-off and pick-up locations may change for campers not taking the bus, and families are informed in advance of the specific location and timing. For campers riding the bus, transportation brings them directly to the trip destination in the morning and picks them up at that same location at the end of the day, unless otherwise communicated. All items needed for the day — lunch, water bottle, and appropriate clothing — must travel with the camper at drop-off. Clear logistics are always shared ahead of each offsite experience.
