What a typical day looks like
Every WILDE day is a little different — weather, water levels and the crew all shape the plan — but here's the rhythm of a classic day at camp, from drop-off to pick-up.
Before-care opens
Optional early drop-off for families who need it.

Riding the Wilde Bus? Hop on in Collingwood, Craigleith or Clarksburg — it rolls straight to where the day begins.
8:45AM
Arrival & morning circle
Crews gather, set the day's intention, and get hyped for the adventure ahead.
9:00AM
Adventure block one
The big morning expedition — a hike, a paddle on the Beaver River, bushcraft, or a creek walk.
9:30AMWater break & snack
Refuel and hydrate (bring a snack from home — snacks aren't provided).
11:15AM
Lunch in the forest
A packed-from-home lunch with the crew, somewhere with a view.

Team challenges, forts, and a chance to just be a kid outside.

Adventure block two
Merit-badge skills, arts & crafts, exploration, or a swim — the afternoon varies by day and group.
1:15PMReflection & wrap-up
Crews circle up to share wins, swap stories, and celebrate what they tried.
3:00PMPack up & trail clean-up
Leave-no-trace: we pack out what we packed in and leave the wild a little wilder.
3:45PMPick-up
Tired legs, big smiles, and a head full of stories.

The Wilde Bus rolls home
Bus campers ride back to their morning stop — gear, stories and all. No pick-up drive, no parking, just a happy camper delivered near home.
